Practice order
Use Training Grounds to build the first muscle memory
Do not start with complex community combos. The cleanest route is to learn the mode toggle, one attack rhythm, one defense habit, and movement control.
Enter combat on purpose
Press G and confirm you are actually in combat mode before testing attacks. This prevents confusing normal movement with fighting inputs.
Run a basic attack rhythm
Use M1 until the timing feels predictable, then test M2 only after you understand when a slower finishing input fits.
Add defense before chase habits
Practice F and E together. Guard helps you survive pressure; evade helps you reset when spacing gets messy.
Lock on, then move
Hold Space to test lock-on behavior, then sprint and reposition while keeping the target visible.
Leave combat cleanly
Press G again when you need to exit combat mode, then check movement, emotes, mouse unlock, or phone flow outside fights.
Defense and movement
Guard, evade, lock-on, and sprint without overplaying
These are editorial practice tips based on the official keybind list. They are not fixed combo rules or a promise that one input beats every situation.
Guard
Use F as your baseline defense drill. Learn when you can hold pressure instead of mashing attack.
Evade
Use E to reset spacing. If you evade too early every time, patient opponents can bait it.
Lock-on
Hold Space when a one-on-one fight needs steadier camera tracking. Release or toggle off if the camera becomes a liability in groups.
Sprint
Hold Shift for approach, retreat, and route practice. Do not let sprint replace camera control.
Avoid these
Common controls mistakes that waste a first session
Most early control problems come from using the wrong source, skipping Training Grounds, or mixing this game with similar Roblox combat guides.
Copying controls from another game
Rintama High, RINTAMA Training Grounds, and similar delinquent-school Roblox games can appear together in search. Use the RINTAMA place page first.
Testing inputs only in live conflict
Use Training Grounds before faction scenes so you can separate setup confusion from actual fight pressure.
Ignoring the in-game guide
The Rintama High Roblox description tells players to read the in-game guide and keybinds. Treat that as the live source if anything here changes.
Calling community combos official
Videos and clips can help with examples, but they should not override the Roblox listing or in-game controls.
Sources checked
Controls can change with updates, so this page keeps official keybind claims separate from practice advice.

What are the Rintama High combat controls?
The public RINTAMA: Training Grounds page lists M1 for Rush Combo, M2 for Finishing Blow or Blows, E for Evade or Quickstep, F for Guard, Space hold for Lock On or Off, and G for Enter or Exit Combat.
Where should I practice Rintama controls?
Use RINTAMA: Training Grounds first. The Roblox group links that place, and the place description lists the controls directly.

Start with G to enter combat, then M1 timing, F guard, E evade, Space hold lock-on, and Shift sprint. Practice defense and camera control before trying longer attack sequences.
Are YouTube or clip-page controls official?
No. Videos and clip pages can be useful examples, but the Roblox place page and the in-game guide should come first when keybinds disagree.
Do these controls work on mobile?
This page only documents the public keyboard and mouse controls listed by the Roblox Training Grounds page. Check the in-game guide on your device for mobile prompts.
